The organic spelt flour makes a wonderful loaf of bread. It's very disappointing that it's being discontinued.

I can't say anything about taste, because this is all for my parrots. I sprout the seeds and mix them into my chop. But they all are fesh and sprout readily.

I accidentally ordered Spelt Flour a while ago and had to come up with a recipe that would use it. Bread Machine Spelt & Whole Wheat pizza dough to the rescue! I love that it's a finely ground flour and is ready to use right out of the bag. Speaking of which, the resealable bag is nice, too.

It's finely ground. The labeling might be changed to give more information such as whole grain and stone ground.

I had never used spelt flower, but I was making bread, pizza and all kinds of pastries even before the pandemic. I love that extra bit of flavor and texture when I substitute spelt flour for part of whatever other flour I'm using in my baked dishes!

Nuts.com has SPELT , even organic! I use it every morning to grind it with buckwheat for pancakes and not even Whole Foods carries the spelt berries any longer! 2 thumbs up!

Experimenting with Spelt and Farro... there's an actual difference between the two. Package arrived today. Well packed in perfectly re-sealable pouches. First time user of Spelt; my intentions are for sprouting...and cooking... am looking forward to the experience. I tend to trust any source which has been in business for as long as Nuts.com. Love this flour, use it to bake with to replace white flour. It works well in my bananna bread, muffins, and cookies.

I always use Spelt Flour when making bread so although I have not tried your brand I know I will like it.

My husband and I loved the box the grains came in, so funny. Loved the package the grains came in.
