While our taste buds can't always take the spicy flavor of raw onions, fried onions have a great hearty flavor and an addictive sweetness.
We start out with freshly chopped onions, coat them with a light dusting of whole wheat flour, fry them in vegetable oil until they're a golden brown, and, as a finishing touch, sprinkle a touch of salt on them while they're still warm. This simple process brings out the best in our fried onions. Crispy, crunchy, sweet, and salty, we could munch on them all day long. Best of all, we don't add any additives, preservatives, or fancy chemicals added.
This fried treat is popular in Asian cuisines as a quick and easy topper for savory dishes such curries, pulaos, biryanis, and noodles. Though fried onions are commonly found in Asian dishes, they're also a mainstay in American recipes. They're the signature crunch in green bean or chicken casseroles. Their crunchy sweetness also makes them the perfect topping to balance out a juicy streak.

I couldn't wait to taste them. Needless to say, they were so much better than the kind you get at the supermarket. So crunchy and taste terriffic. I will be ordering more of them. This is not to take away from the GIGANTIC dark chocolate covered Macadamia nuts or the coconut chips. The dried fruit platter and mixed fruit helped me to enjoy evening tv watching more.
