I meant to order powdered ascorbic acid, but ordered citric acid … read up on it and learned a lot… caution for anyone who thinks it’s vitamin C. Still lots of ways to use it, just be sure you don’t think it is vitamin C!!!

This is a staple for our kitchen. Wonderful flavor.

Yum. I am a popcorn affianado. Just the right oil (peanut or coconut), cook on stovetop in a cast iron Wok, Flavacol, butter oil after cooking or butter emulsification (baking) during and top it off with a couple of dashes of flavored salt. After all that is it still a healthy snack? Who cares...? yum!

I use it sparingly as I don't use a lot of salt, but you need it for the pretzels.

It does not taste good. It tastes plastic-y. Plus the container doesn't even have the information about the product on it.

My 2 concerns were: 1. No label on the salt. I did dip my finger in the jar to taste a tiny amount. Definitely did taste like butter, but buyer beware. It is VERY salty. The popcorn is wonderful. No complaints. Will be my choice from now on. Hubby loved it. No need to say more.
