Teff is a wonderful flour that is most nutritious and adaptable, I add it to bread and other baking mixes. Nuts.com sure is reliable in quality.

We have had teff flour brought to us by friends from Ethiopia. It was incredible. Yours is the closest to the taste of that teff from our friends.

For our first order, we certainly enjoyed opening the carton. Immediately used the teff flour in a gluten free scone recipe the came out fine. We especially like the sturdy bags and reclosing tops which means we can eliminate some additional storage containers. We expect to be restocking other gluten free flours and starches now that we have "discovered" Nuts.com for ourselves.

The teff flour arrived a day early so I started experimenting right away. I'm leaving town for a few days so don't have much time but already tried making teff brownies. They turned out okay; I plan to make some changes to the recipe. :-) My goal is to use teff rather than wheat flour because it's so nutritious.

I have recently found out that am gluten intolerant. I found this website via Gluten - free on a Shoestring Bakes Bread. I was very happy that am able to order a little at a time while experimenting with recipes. I ordered 1 lb packages and they are resealable (love that).
