Smoky, chewy, delicious

This was my first time trying wheat berries and I love them. I cooked them using the directions in the description and ate them plain. I love the chewy texture and the taste was great too.

Another unknow product. Easy to use, very good.

I can't say anything about taste, because this is all for my parrots. I sprout the seeds and mix them into my chop. But they all are fesh and sprout readily.

I love freekeh. I had bought it from you in years past and had stopped because my grocery store in Texas began to offer it. When I moved to NC I was unable to find it; therefore, Nuts.com to the rescue.

I cook whole grains instead of just rice. Freekeh, rye, barley...more protein and fiber. Love that Nuts.com has a great variety of whole grains.

Ok I fess up. Never tried this, or heard of it before, but I trust Nuts to have good products, so I decided to try it.

Haven’t cooked it yet but I’m sure it will stellar.

Onion, Ethiopian spices and parsley soaked for 3 days then heated. Delivers a rice like side dish easy to digest.

I love it

When I first opened the bag I was disappointed that I didn’t catch the characteristic smoky aroma coming from the grain, but oddly enough that slightly smoky flavor comes through once it’s cooked. Super stoked to have a freekeh source since it can be really hard to find. Be sure to rinse and soak if you don’t want to find the occasional bit of charred hull in your mouth. Just goes to show it’s the real deal.

Who knew Einkorn was SO delicious and easy to cook? There’s a really nice chew to it, and to me it kind of tastes like pasta. I definitely will order more.

My normal source of Einkorn grain was out this year. So happy to find Einkorn here at Nuts.com. Einkorn has a different gluten structure than wheat and takes a learning curve to know how to bake with it. I like the taste better than wheat. My body seems to like Einkorn better than wheat as well.

Never found this grain anywhere else.

I'd never seen or heard of Kaniwa before and gave it a try because I love new things - this did not disappoint. Texture-wise I find it more similar to amaranth than quinoa (which it's related to), but taste-wise, it's got a roasty, nutty flavor all its own.

I just ordered this on a park last order but we liked it so much I ordered it again. Flavorful, hearty, yummy. I made a pilaf with it.

Einkorn is fine. Wish larger bags available rather than only quantities of 1# bags.

There's a funny taste to it, almost like something was rancid. We ended up tossing it.

Tastes delightful. It has a wonderful texture. I use the Kaniwa and the Amaranth along with the cacao and hemp powders.

I like it better than quinoa, and it seems to be even healthier. Has a mild, neutral flavor and no bitterness. Works really well mixed into a salad because the seeds are so tiny.

Add a teaspoon of organic kaniwa to oatmeal. it's healthy!!

It's an acquired taste, but I like it better than quinoa. I mix it with my rice.

Thank you for having this wonderful grain. I was surprised how quickly it cooked and that no OVN soaking is required. I enjoy its taste, appreciate its nutritional profile and ancient origins.

This is surprize-a little seed almost as small as Teff, and yet healthy and full of nutritional value. It does taste similar to Quinoa, which I like very much, but it is unique as well. Cooks quickly and no rinsing required (quinoa has saponins so you need to rinse the grain), before cooking. I mix cooked Kaniwa with cooked brown rice, for example, for extra nutrition and fun! Thank you.

I just tried kaniwa last night for the first time. It is so good. I like it much better than Quinoa.

This is so good. There is so much that one can do with it.

It came before the computer said it would which was surprising. No instructions as to how to cook it, but was happy that it came so quickly.

Freekeh is lower in carbs than a lot of the other grains, so it is a good substitution if you are cooking for someone who is diabetic as my S.O. is. Get your Freekeh on!

Kaniwa has a delicious mild, nutty flavor and chewy texture. Prepared it as a cereal and it was yummy in my tummy.

I’ve never had this quinoa before and I am so happy with this discovery. It will be part of my pantry staple from now on.

This makes the best salad with finely chopped veggies with a vinaigrette dressing.

This is my first to try of this grain. Easy to prepare according to directions I have found and uses are so many. Great addition to the variety of grains to our foods. Related to quinoa but better according to some. I will check that out in so many ways. Thanks for bringing another great product into your home.

Haven't whipped these up just yet--I got this freekeh for both myself and my feathered companion--but having previous experience with Nuts.com's products, I am absolutely sure we'll enjoy it!
