Candied walnuts, also known as glazed walnuts, are fantastic for snacking, baking, and salads. It took us a while to perfect this homemade recipe, but we think the time was well worth it! You'll have your hand firmly planted in a bag of these candied walnuts, with their delightful blend of sweet and salty, light and savory nutty crunch.
To make our trademark candied walnuts, we take our freshest walnuts, coat them with a mixture of sugar and butter, and oven roast them until the sugar and butter form a coat of crunchy caramel.
Stir a handful of these treats into your morning cereal and yogurt for a sugary crunch, mix them into chicken, tuna, or egg salad for a sweet surprise, and add them to any baked goods! The crisp, buttery flavor will make whatever you're cooking delicious. For a classic homemade holiday gift, combine these walnuts with other candied nuts in a decorated mason jar.
