Almond paste is a great ingredient for your everyday baking. Our paste contains 67% select grade almonds so you can be sure that you're getting a quality product.

The paste adds a delicate depth to any dessert you make. The subtle sweetness of the almonds coupled with the natural fruitiness makes it a pantry staple. From scrumptious almond cookies and fruit tarts to delectable almond croissants and wedding cakes, the possibilities are endless!

Almond Paste vs. Marzipan

Almond paste generally contains 2 parts almonds to 1 part sugar, whereas marzipan contains a higher ratio of sugar to almond. The high almond content of almond paste makes it a wonderful filling for cakes and baked goods, adding a rich almond taste. Marzipan is more pliable than almond paste; it is often molded into candy and eaten as is, or rolled out as a fondant for cakes. To make marzipan, you can combine equal parts confectioner's sugar and almond paste with a touch of light corn syrup.

Our almond paste is packed in steel cans to preserve freshness. Once opened, the paste will stay fresh for a month; we recommend covering the can of unused paste with a layer of plastic wrap and a layer of foil, and storing it in the fridge. And, yes, the paste can be frozen so it can last for up to a year (You're not the only one wondering this)! Just remove the remaining almond paste from the can, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, and store the wrapped paste in a tightly sealed container in the freezer.

Health Tips

1. A 1.5 oz handful of almonds is a leading source of vitamin E and magnesium, and also contains protein, fiber, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and iron.

2. 64% of the fats found in almonds are monounsaturated fats and, according to the American Heart Association, these fats help lower harmful cholesterol levels as effectively as expensive pharmaceutical drugs.

3. 1 oz of almonds has 7.6 grams of protein, while a whole egg has just 5.5 grams of protein. The protein in almonds maintains healthy muscle growth in your body.

4. 1 oz of almonds contains as much calcium as ¼ cup of milk for strong bones.

“You can't beat the prices and it's all so fresh. I ordered almond paste almost a year ago, and after freezing it used it today. It was as good as when I put it in the freezer. My cookies came out perfect. Thank you!”

“You guys really are nuts! I ordered almond paste last week and it arrived just when you said it would. It looks great and tastes yummy! You have made this whole experience soooooo fun! I will do business with you again.
I am a new cake designer and have never worked with marzipan before do you have any expert advice? I need to freeze some of it are there any special considerations to keeping it as fresh and pliable as it is today?
Thanks again. You are the best. Your customer service is the BEST I have ever experienced.
God bless all you nuts.

“This almond paste is a great product at a good price. Its hard to find large quantities for this value.Delivery was great too. Tested with a tray of pignoli cookies and I can't tell the difference from more expensive Solo or outrageously expensive Odense brand.”

“We made the most amazing tasting pignoli cookies ever with this almond paste... our family couldn't believe they weren't bakery bought. 7 pounds of the stuff is quite alot, though. It's good that we can freeze it. One word about your shipping: INCREDIBLE! It came in less than 24 hours with Standard shipping- ordered it 2PM one day and it was delivered 11 am the next! I have never ordered anything over the internet that was delivered that fast!”

“You guys are the best! I totally checked out and got disorganized this year so I forgot to order bulk almond paste in advance. I gave up on being able to make all my friends' favorite pignolis (almond macaroons) for Christmas until I saw yesterday that I could get a 7 pound can of almond paste from Nuts Online overnight. Not only was the price for the almond paste the best anywhere, but there was no extra shipping cost for ground shipping to me (in the same zone) to get it today--and this is December 20th and I have in hand now! Thank you, thank you--I'm off to bake macaroons--my cookie fans thank you! (I also make tortoni and coffee cake with it too (-: ) ”
