Our beloved grandfather, Poppy Sol, started this business in an open-air market. Three generations later, we’re still bringing smiles to our customers' faces.
Marcona almonds, the "Queen of Almonds," are imported from Spain. They are shorter, rounder, softer, and sweeter than the California variety. These blanched Marcona almonds are roasted in olive oil and then sprinkled with sea salt, offering a delicious taste.Marcona Almonds vs. Regular Almonds
Marcona almonds are prized for being more tender, sweet, and delicate than regular almonds, with a nice buttery flavor that is due to their high oil and moisture content. California almonds have been described as tasting more “woody” in comparison. Long used in Spanish cuisine, Marcona almonds are now gaining popularity among Americans. Marcona almonds contain the same excellent health benefits as all almonds, including cholesterol-lowering monounsaturated fats. They are also an equally rich source of protein, antioxidants, iron, and calcium.
Use Marcona almonds in salads, with cheeses, alongside fruit, and in desserts. The Spanish use marcona almonds in tapas and treats like turron, a traditional nougat candy. The enjoyable flavor, and smooth, delicate texture of these unique almonds creates a wonderful snack in itself. For more options, see our entire selection of almonds.

“Wow, what quality products! Used to buy my roasted salted hazel nuts from William Sonoma but they quit carrying them. The Marcona almonds are simply fantastic also. Your website is in my favorites list.”

“What a pleasant surprise! After savoring again in the USA what my family and I had relished in various European trips, we attempted to somehow replicate those gustatory pleasures. We did find various places with a 40 minute drive where we could obtain various delicacies, but since we were no longer vacationing, the scurrying about was not the optimal solution. I then looked online, and very quickly came to the nutsonline.com website. The first thing that I noticed was that the site was very well designed (I am a programmer and designer). Encouraged, I then looked at the offering, and compiled a list, very close to the sum of the various other destination lists, to order from nutsonline.com. As I entered my order I was again impressed by the quality of the web work, and figured (correctly, it turns out) that such attention to detail would presage good things too for the quality of the products. I ordered on Monday and received my order on Tuesday, which is sooner than what I would have been able to receive my goodies, since many gourmet stores are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
As soon as I received my (rather large) package, I opened all the bags, and started tasting my treats. What a delight! The Marcona almonds were fresh and sweet, the chocolate covered ginger and orange peel were fresh and succulent, the other treats were equally succulent. I have become a customer of nutsonline.com. Thank you all at nutsonline.com,

“The only thing that surpasses the excellence of your service is the fantastic taste of your nuts!”
Susan, Bridgewater, NJ May 4, 2010
“Placed my first order thursday evening and received the shipment Saturday morning. Impressive! Haven't had a chance to try everything yet, but the marcona almonds are SO good - buttery, crunchy and with just a kiss of salt, I can't stop eating them. And the Spanish roast coffee is delicious, bold but smooth, just as described on the website. I'm a fan!”
