Some in our house are "teeth challenged" so i plan to grind some in a small hand grinder so they can sprinkle them atop their cereal, yogurt, pudding, atop a sandwich etc. The chopped dates are excellent plus you get the extra fiber of oat flour. “OMG, you are the best! Right on time. I could have kissed the UPS guy tonight! Now, I can make datenut bread - which I haven't been able to make since moving to CA. Each time I went to a store and looked at what they had in the way of dates, I was so disappointed. I don't believe I should have to take a second mortgage out on my house to afford to buy enough chopped dates to make datenut bread. Also, the glazed mixed fruit is "seasonal" here.
