Chocolate almond halvah is smooth and creamy, infused with rich, nutty and sweet flavors. Halvah is a dense confectionary made of sesame and honey popular in the Middle East, parts of Africa and the Jewish diaspora. The outer layer of crispy almonds really complements the creamy sweet halvah interior.

The Halvah was a birthday gift, and my friend raved about it. She is Greek, so she has a particular fondness for Middle-Eastern pastries. This was the first time I'd ordered from Nuts.com, and I will definitely do so again on the future.

I loved the idea of this but it was too soft, crumbly and melty. 30 seconds of holding the bar to eat it it was melted all over my fingers. I would suggest smaller bite sized chunks with a harder chocolate. Loved it though! Just change it up.
