It was one of the joys I remember, and I've spent every Halloween thereafter buying at least 9 to 12 pumpkins, carving them with faces, and roasting every last one of their seeds! It's a lot of work, but well worth it. Now, I can have my pumpkin seeds all year round! I'm completely addicted to them. As is my family. I roast them with salt only, sticking with tradition, but I'm going to start trying a batch with other spices.
