Recipe for Pralines I

Recipe Ingredients:
cups brown sugar, firmly packed
cup granulated sugar
3/4  cup water
cup Pecans

Cooking Directions:
1.  Combine sugars and water in saucepan.

2.  Cook mixture until it reaches 238 F or forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat, add pecans.

3.  Return to heat and bring again to a boil.

4.  Remove from heat and stir until syrup becomes slighly cloudy (mixture will be thin).

5.  Pour large spoonfuls of mixture on waxed paper to form pralines.
