Submitted by: Pete from Dallas, TX

Recipe Ingredients:
2-1/2  cups all purpose flour
teaspoon baking powder
1/8  teaspoon salt
cup butter, softened
cup packed light brown sugar
eggs
teaspoons vanilla
1-1/2  cups Roasted Peanuts
  powdered sugar (optional)

Cooking Directions:
1.  Preheat oven to 350F. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl.

2.  Beat butter in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Gradually beat in brown sugar; increase speed to medium-high and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture until blended. Stir in peanuts.

3.  Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough about 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with hands.

4.  Bake 12 minutes or until set. Let cookies stand on cookie sheets 5 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Dust cookies with powdered sugar, if desired. Store in airtight container.

Unsalted extra large Virginia peanuts out of the shell, roasted to perfection. Still America's favorite snack, just without salt! Equally delicious and even more nutritious.
