Cooking Directions: |

Preheat oven to 375. Grease a cookie sheet, set aside.

In a mixing bowl cream together the shortening and sugars, add the beaten egg, blend well. Mix in the vanilla extract, and peanut butter. In another mixing bowl blend together the triticale flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, and blend together.

Shape into balls and place on prepared cookie sheet; flatten with the prongs of a fork. Bake about 10 minutes. Cool cookies on a wire rack.
