Recipe for Maddie's Peanut Butter Brownies

Recipe Ingredients:
1/2  cup butter, softened
1/4  cup peanut butter
cup packed light brown sugar
eggs
teaspoon vanilla
cups all purpose flour
teaspoons baking powder
1/8  teaspoon salt
cup chocolate syrup
1/2  cup coarsely chopped Mixed Nuts Roasted and Salted

Cooking Directions:
1.  Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease 13X9-inch pan. Beat butter and peanut butter in large bowl until blended; stir in sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Blend in vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Stir into butter mixture. Spread half of batter evenly in prepared pan. Spread syrup over top. Spoon remaining batter over syrup. Swirl with knife or spatula to create marbled effect. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 2-inch squares. Swirls of peanut butter and chocolate form an unbeatable flavor combination.
