Glazed Cherries, quartered |

Marcona Almonds (chopped) |

Cooking Directions: |

Melt butter either in saucepan or in microwave dish together with sugar until butter is liquefied. Cool a bit.

Add sugar. Add egg, no need to beat it - mix well, ad extracts.

Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix only till thoroughly moistened, add cherries and almonds.

Bake at 350 in a greased 8 x 8 pan for 25-30 minutes or less, depending on your oven.

Cool thoroughly before slicing.
