cup Black Walnuts |
| 1/4 |
cup shortening |
| 1/4 |
cup unsalted butter |
| 1 |
cup sugar |
| 1 |
egg |
| 2 |
cup flour |
| 1/2 |
tsp baking soda |
| 1/2 |
tsp salt |
| 1 |
tsp vanilla |
Cooking Directions: |

Mix ingredients in order given, and drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from baking sheet and let cool on wire rack.
Store in airtight container.
These are soft cake-like cookies. Excellent for the holidays.
