Jumbo Raw Peanuts (In Shell)

“WOW! I could not find any decent raw peanuts for boiling but found these when I was actually searching for colored jordan almonds for our wedding celebration! I just boiled the entire 5lbs last weekend and because I have "converted" a couple folks at work AND my fiance who had never tried/heard of a boiled peanut, they are all gone!

They did take a lot longer to boil than I expected...instead of 3 hours, it took 6. I'm guessing it's their size. Also, I saw other's comments about presoaking; I've never heard of that method. Any tips? And do you have a recipe for roasting them???

We love them and I'm ordering more. Oh...and yes, the jordan almonds will be perfect for our upcoming wedding on Jan 29!!! The colors are perfect!!!
