I actually had postponed the delivery of the beans so that it wouldn't be so hot, but I ended up setting up delivery for one of the hottest days of the year (97F)!! However, upon opening the package the beans were still in perfect condition! I'm using these as wedding favors so of course I had to taste test them first and they were lip-smacking delicious! They looked just like the ones I used to get when I was a child, from my aunt's deli. I was way min the eco-friendly pouches! My husband and son LOVED them. More than the candy, I loved the packaging..it took me back to my heyday..the 70s and 80s..when everything was folky and organic! I was also bowled over by the generous sample bag of brightly colored chocolate covered sunflower seeds! They were not your typical tiny sample..it was a generous amount in a really cute package..and they were fantastic! Not something I'd have tried on my own, but after trying them, I will definitely be back, to buy some more!
