Jumbo Raw Peanuts (In Shell)
Fresh, Super Jumbo Raw Peanuts from Virginia arrive in the shell. These are the largest that are grown. In shell jumbo raw peanuts are ideal for those who like to eat them raw. You can also cook them to your own taste. Our jumbo peanuts are a healthy treat that is high in protein, fiber, and heart-healthy nutrients.
These are not green peanuts but many people still love to boil them. They just need be soaked overnight for at least 24 hours.
Health Benefits of Jumbo Raw Peanuts
Snacking on jumbo raw peanuts is great for your heart and overall health! A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (December 1999) showed that diets higher in monounsaturated fats from peanuts and peanut butter reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by 21% compared to the average American diet, whereas a low-fat diet reduced the risk by only 12%. Over 80 percent of the fat in peanuts comes from the “good” monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
Jumbo raw peanuts add a hearty dose of protein and dietary fiber to your diet. A one-ounce serving of these nuts provides 7 grams of protein and 4 grams of dietary fiber. Consuming jumbo raw peanuts also provides your body with a rich source of antioxidants, which have been shown to protect cells against the oxidative damage linked to heart disease, stroke, and other chronic conditions. Peanuts contain a specific antioxidant called resveratrol, which is the same kind found in grapes and wine that has been shown to improve heart health and reduce excessive inflammation in the body.

“Aloha (Hello) Nut Family: I was so excited when my Jumbo Peanuts arrived on time! I have not ever seen peanuts so HUGE.
I can't wait until everyone at the pa'ina (party) sees and tastes these.
Anyway, I soaked for 8 hours and boiled those Jumbo Peanuts in a secret Hawaiian-Chinese seasoned water solution, because I couldn't wait 24 hours plus to taste those morsels of delight.
The flavor of those boiled Jumbo Peanuts are the Bomb! There is no way, I will ever buy small sized peanuts ever again.
I wish everyone in your Nut Family to have a Hauoli (Happy) Day!
Mahalo (Thank you) for your time and efforts; I appreciate it.
Aloha (good bye)”

“I got the raw peanuts yesterday (in shell) and boiled them today. WOW! They were clean, and they were of a very high quality. Mostly large double or triple nuts and almost no (if any) single nut shells.
The taste after boiling for 11 hours with a little salt was amazing!

“WOW! I could not find any decent raw peanuts for boiling but found these when I was actually searching for colored jordan almonds for our wedding celebration! I just boiled the entire 5lbs last weekend and because I have "converted" a couple folks at work AND my fiance who had never tried/heard of a boiled peanut, they are all gone!
They did take a lot longer to boil than I expected...instead of 3 hours, it took 6. I'm guessing it's their size. Also, I saw other's comments about presoaking; I've never heard of that method. Any tips? And do you have a recipe for roasting them???
We love them and I'm ordering more. Oh...and yes, the jordan almonds will be perfect for our upcoming wedding on Jan 29!!! The colors are perfect!!!
Thank you and I am so glad you guys are "here"!!!
