Diane, wardensville, WV July 12, 2011“I spent 10 years in Kona, HI, raising coffee and mac nuts. I was concerned that the shelled mac nuts that you sent might show signs of loss of sweetness - not so - they were DELICIOUS and SWEET, just as I remembered.
Our Hawaiian neighbor drilled holes of an appropriate size in an old board - balanced the mac nuts in them - a swift, efficient tap on each with a hammer always released perfect nuts; we had a fancier electric machine, but his was perfect for small amounts. Harder to remove were the husks, but once they were scrubbed off and piled up, they rotted into beautiful fertilizer - particularly if mixed with the chickens' droppings! Kona Gold!

I got the organic raw walnuts, organic raw macadamia nuts plus the dried bilberries (to see if they really do improve eyesight).
