Our beloved grandfather, Poppy Sol, started this business in an open-air market. Three generations later, we’re still bringing smiles to our customers' faces.
Marcona almonds, the "Queen of Almonds," are imported from Spain. They are shorter, rounder, softer, and sweeter than the California variety. These blanched Marcona almonds are roasted in olive oil and then sprinkled with sea salt, offering a delicious taste.Marcona Almonds vs. Regular Almonds
Marcona almonds are prized for being more tender, sweet, and delicate than regular almonds, with a nice buttery flavor that is due to their high oil and moisture content. California almonds have been described as tasting more “woody” in comparison. Long used in Spanish cuisine, Marcona almonds are now gaining popularity among Americans. Marcona almonds contain the same excellent health benefits as all almonds, including cholesterol-lowering monounsaturated fats. They are also an equally rich source of protein, antioxidants, iron, and calcium.
Use Marcona almonds in salads, with cheeses, alongside fruit, and in desserts. The Spanish use marcona almonds in tapas and treats like turron, a traditional nougat candy. The enjoyable flavor, and smooth, delicate texture of these unique almonds creates a wonderful snack in itself. For more options, see our entire selection of almonds.

“WOW! My bags of DELICIOUS Marcona almonds arrived just one day after they were ordered. I was a bit leery at first -- ya never know, ya know? Anyway, they were FAB! Great value for the money -- shipping costs were less than gas money to get to the store (who doesn't carry Marconas anyway). Highly recommend the almonds and NUTS online!”

“I made my latest order during our recent heat wave, so I chose to use the thermal packing. Everything arrived just fine, with no melted chocolate.
I tried some new items on this order, and I now have more favorites to reorder. I'll just mention two here.
The Marcona almonds are delicious. I had only tasted them once before, when I bought a small but very expensive package at Whole Foods. I don't remember the exact pricing, but the nuts online price is much, much better. And the nuts taste fresher too!
So much for Whole Foods!
I also love the chocolate covered pecans, or what's still left of them! It took a lot of will power not to devour the entire bag in one setting!
On this order, I also restocked a previous favorite - the scrumptious jumbo roasted salted cashews. I'm going to try and make them last longer this time, really, I am!
And, as with all my orders, the service was super fast and efficient.
I guess I'm a chronically satisfied customer!

“Marcona almonds are the best almonds I've ever had. I keep them handy for times when I'm feeling hungry and it's a while until meal time. A small handful (about a dozen almonds) does the trick.”

“Thank you for caring about people and the quality of your products and service. I just bought three pounds of your Marcona almonds for my diabetic husband. They were a wonderful, healthy gift for Valentine's Day. My daughter highly recommended you . She was right!. You have a new customer for life.”

“These marcona almonds are great. They are even better and fresher than the ones I used to pay $40 a pound at wholefoods

“During 31 years of flying airplanes about the world for the late, greatest U.S. airline, TWA, the Marcona almond was equal to Flamenco in my motivations to return to Spain often. I brought them back by the bushel for family and friends. In my retirement I wish I could afford the "imported" price. But, since it's been 15 years, maybe I will indulge in a pound with current order from NutsOnline. Thanks, NutsOnline for making them available.”
