Organic Turkish Figs
Dried organic Turkish figs are a delectable treat. Their sweet, mellow flavor makes dried Turkish figs a favorite for snacking, and appeals to a wide variety of cuisines. They are also an excellent source of dietary fiber, antioxidants, and other nutrients. Our Turkish figs are certified organic by CCOF.
Health Benefits of Organic Turkish Figs
The antioxidant boost provided by fruit consumption lasts about 2 hours. Which dried fruits are the best? Of the six fruits tested--apricots, cranberries, dates, figs, raisins and plums--shooting to a surprise finish at number one was... figs! Even the high fructose corn syrup in the soda is no match for the antioxidant power of fruit. Despite the double sugar load, subjects washing down their figs with soda still experienced an overall rise in antioxidant levels in their bloodstream. In addition to having the highest antioxidant content among the six fruits tested, of the thousands of whole foods in the USDA nutrient
database, figs make the top ten for fiber content.

“Wow! I'm a first time buyer at nuts.com and could not believe the super-fast delivery. The Organic Turkish Figs are out of this world and Bing Cherries are fantastic. Thanks so much for the free sample of Goji Berries. I'll definitely be a repeat customer”

“Turkish apricots are so fresh and delicious (& everything else, as usual). Figs are the best, not to mention the whole wheat fig bars -- with coffee those are supreme. Mmm. :)”

“My hubby and I both smiled when the doorbell rang on Sat. as we knew it was FedEx w/ our Nuts.com delivery (you told us so when we ordered and you haven't been wrong on estimated arrival time yet). We crowded around the box, he said, "are there figs?" and when I nodded yes he grinned just like a kid on Christmas. I felt the same way about the cashew crunch and the antioxidant mix, m-m-m; I had a little dish of each for lunch and didn't even feel a tiny bit guilty. Great products, great service, thanks so much!”

“The best organic turkish figs i have ever had! They ship so quickly and I receive the orders as swiftly. The dark chocolate covered goji berries were a hit, even for my finicky husband and the salt water taffy gift to my landlords elicited a huge smile. We love the new packaging too! Thank you Nuts.com!”

“I was just looking to buy dried pears but decided to try several things...
The jumbo Medjool Dates are creamy smooth, just as the others have mentioned...I call them "Nature's Caramel"
Turkish figs are great, sweet and not too dry. (unlike some from a local store that were like leather and not edible...)
The dried Strawberries, KIWI and cantaloupe are amazing... There is just the right amount of sugar added to make them a wonderful natural candy like treat...
Oh, and as for the pears... Just what I wanted!
Thanks for the free sample included with my order Nuts.com...

“Just got my order, LOVE the Turkish figs, you are right, they are marvelous. I already snacked through the trial size of the antioxidant mix, oh my goodness that was intriguing and delicious. Thanks for your fairly priced and high quality and ORGANIC products, I'm a happy camper!”

“the organic figs are so good, the dates are also very good. We will be ordering more soon. Yum-o!

“Another GREAT order! I received, Organic Turkish Figs, Organic Cali Figs, Organic Medjool Dates, Organic Raw Cashews, and Organic Truly Raw Almonds.
I only got a small bag each of the Figs because I didn't know if we'd like the Turkish or Cali ones better. I'd read some people saying they didn't like Turkish figs.
I have to say the taste of the 2 figs is VERY similar. However, we LOVED the Organic TURKISH Figs the best! They were much juicer than the Cali ones and the Organic Turkish Figs tasted like you were eating a fig newton without the cookie. So if you can't decide, definitely go with the Organic Turkish Figs!
We also received a free trail mix......which was delicious. The raisins and dried tart cherries that were in it were so delicious that I'm buying some of each in my next order! =)”

“Delivery time was awesome! I tried the figs, yum. Can't wait to try the sun-dried
tomatoes and the maca powder.”

“We just got our order today and all we can say is "wow". We opened the organic Turkish figs and what a difference. We usually get figs from COSTCO and thought those were good, but these are great. My wife tried the bonus walnuts and they were so fresh. You have loyal customers now.”
