I prefer a firmer, less squishy type date. I find Medjools to soft and overly sweet.
These Barhi dates are wonderful! Chewy, not squishy and taste like a caramel candy!

R
Rah

I enjoyed the taste and texture of these dates. Not as sweet as the Medjool dates but more of an adult taste. I will order these again.

DELICIOUS!! Better and healthier than candy. YUM! I keep buying.

B

These are some of the best dates I’ve ever had. These rich little dates come off the pit easily and taste like butterscotch and freshly-baked cookies, without the overly sweet raisin flavor of store-brand medjool dates. Glad I bought 3 bags!

P
Pat

Absolutely delicious... chewy, sweet. Who needs candy bars! These are natures candy.

E
Emily

I’ve ordered these twice, on 10/22/25 and 12/02/25. Delicious butterscotch taste, soft texture, and consistent quality.

These are some of the best dates. Buttery sweet is the best description.

K

Absolutely delicious! I've found them to not be as sweet as the Medjool dates - which I still love. The Barhi dates are smaller, but they pack a very flavorful punch. Will probably buy these again, when I've devoured the bag I have.

These are my new favorite dates although you can’t go wrong with any variety imo.
They taste better than candy, so delicious !

If you've never had a Barhi date, you need to try one right now! It's my absolute favorite date and everyone I've ever introduced to them instantly falls in love with their delicious and delicate caramel flavor.
When entertaining, I serve these along with with with raw walnut halves and pieces of dark chocolate for dessert. Easy and delicious and always on hand. I buy several bags and keep one in the freezer at all times.

S
Suzanne

These are hands down, my favorite date. The texture is like soft caramel and they are like eating candy. I almost don't want anyone else to know about them... ;-)

J

Very good.

These are sweet, moist and creamy. Remember to pit them! I mixed them with medjool dates in a recipe and they were a treat. Also, remember to Refrigerate! I didn't know that and on the second day after I opened them they smelled a little fermented - so I read the bag. They're still fantastic though. I will buy again.

K
Kimberly

Probably the best date I've ever tasted. They're soft, moist, sweet, and taste like caramel.

S
Sharon

My favorites. I’m never out of them. Remove the pit and freeze them. They are like sweet candy. But getter!

Excellent packaging and quality but they were too soft and sweet for me. Future orders will be Zahidis or Halawis which I much prefer. And Medjools of course.

Barhi dates are soft, guoey, and sweet. My favorite date.

D
Daniel

OK...I don't know how to say this...there are no words for me to describe how delicious these dates are. Very soft and delightfully chewy. This is the first time I ever had this variety of dates before and I only ordered them because I like to try different things, sometimes. I never see them in any of our local stores and if I did, they probably wouldn't be as good as these.

J
Janie

First time trying. Very delicious. Small in size. Thin dry skin and tender, moist sweet inside.

G
Gary
