Large Pearl Tapioca
Old fashioned large pearl tapioca. Use to make an old fashioned tapioca pudding like Grandma used to make!
Size #40, 1/5" diameter
Soak 1/2 cup tapioca in water overnight in a 1-1/2 quart saucepan. Add milk, salt and lightly beaten egg yolks to tapioca and stir over medium heat until boiling. Simmer uncovered over very low heat for 10-15 minutes. Stir often. Beat egg whites with sugar until soft peaks form. Fold about 3/4 cup of hot tapioca into the egg whites, then gently fold mixture back into saucepan. Stir over low heat for about 3 minutes. Cool 15 minutes then add vanilla. “What a fun company to do business with. Just opened my package of pearl tapioca. It even arrived a day earlier than expected. Can't wait to make some. Thanks again for your prompt and unenthusiastic service. ”

“Tapioca arrived in excellent condition,
however a review of the tapioca pudding recipe reveals entirely too much sugar and my Grandma would cringe at that. She used 1/2 cup in 4 cups of milk.”

“My mom just received her large pearl tapioca (just 2 days after I ordered it) and she's thrilled. She hasn't been able to find it for some time now. I found your site through a Google search and I'll be back for more of your goodies. Thanks for the excellent service!”

“I haven't made the pudding yet, but the tapioca large pearls are the largest I have seen since I was a child. I've been unable to find them anywhere until the package you just delivered. I'm really looking forward to homemade tapioca pudding like my mom used to make. Thanks a bunch! (One thing bothered me,though. It was the cost of shipping being more than twice the cost of two packages of tapioca. I bought it anyway, but that was why I did not order anything else.)”
