Our beloved grandfather, Poppy Sol, started this business in an open-air market. Three generations later, we’re still bringing smiles to our customers' faces.
Whole anise seed (aniseed) is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region and southwest Asia. Anise is sweet and very aromatic. It contains liquorice-like components. It adds wonderful flavor to any type of dish and is used in many ethnic beverages. The oils can even be used as aromatherapy to help treat colds and flu.

“Received my nutty package today, so fast my head is spinning, but I stopped it long enough to smell the delicious aroma & freshness of my Anise Seeds. They are nowhere to be found for baking down in the boonies where I live, then I thought of you! Sure 'nf you had them and I can't wait to make my favorites, Peffernusse!! Thanks again for a wonderful experience! Sharon”

“Yes, we did receive the Anise and it was simply "Great". I use it in my homemade Granola for that extra kick of flavor, and WOW does it do the job. Thanks for a fantastic product and excellent service.

“I bought Anise seeds to make Italian Pizzelles & yours are the cheapest that I have found so far. They look very good. You have beaten the price that I paid with another company by over 10.00. I will try you when I need more.”

“I opened the package and took a sniff, and Ohhhh the aroma was wonderful. I had to sample the taste too...Oh that was better than the smell ! I also use this in the homemade sausages that I make.
How long can you store the seeds in the plastic bags? I will probably store them in quart jars, but was wondering
since the bags were so sturdy if they would last a year on the shelf.”
