This completely raw dulse are a reddish seaweed grown in the frigid areas of Canada. Dulse alkaline vegetable packed with iron and trace minerals.
The blades on the dulse are flattened and broad with numerous forks. These lobed segments make the plants appear hand shaped thus its name meaning "Of the Palm". Dulce grows near or below the low tide mark in protected bays in Canada.
Great as a snack or in salads or soups.
