Our beloved grandfather, Poppy Sol, started this business in an open-air market. Three generations later, we’re still bringing smiles to our customers' faces.
Bee Pollen Powder
Bee pollen powder is loaded with protein, essential amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants to improve energy levels, boost the immune system, and support heart health. For a nutritional boost, sprinkle bee pollen powder in smoothies or food.
How to Enjoy Bee Pollen Powder
Our bee pollen powder has a mildly sweet and floral taste that blends seamlessly with many of your favorite everyday foods. Mix 1 teaspoon of the powder in cereals, oatmeal, or puddings. Try blending bee pollen powder in a refreshing fruit smoothie, or sprinkling it on salads and sliced fruit. You can even incorporate it into raw desserts but refrain from cooking it as heat will reduce the potency.
A serving size of bee pollen powder is 1 teaspoon. If you’re new to bee pollen, start out with a tiny amount to ensure there’s no allergic reaction.
Health Benefits of Bee Pollen Powder
1) Protein Powerhouse: Bee pollen powder is composed of 40 percent protein, making it an excellent source of this vital nutrient. It is considered a complete protein containing 22 amino acids, including all of the essential amino acids, which are critical for building the proteins in our bodies.
2) Energy Booster: Often referred to as Mother Nature's natural energy booster, bee pollen powder contains a wide range of nutrients to ward off fatigue. These include B-complex vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and enzymes. Olympic athletes have even used bee pollen to increase their energy levels and endurance.
3) Heart-Healthy: One of the richest food sources of the antioxidant rutin, bee pollen may help prevent the risk for strokes and heart attacks. A 2012 study published in The Journal of Clinical Investigation found that rutin was able to prevent the formation of blood clots which detrimentally block blood vessels.
4) Easy to Digest: Bee pollen powder contains digestive enzymes which make it easy for your body to digest and absorb all of the powder's potent nutrients. Compared to Bee Pollen Granules, the powder offers the same benefits while being easier to use since no preparation is needed before using it.
As with any health supplement, consult a physician before starting use.
If you have pollen allergies, bee pollen may stimulate a reaction; use with caution.
Women who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding should not use this product.
Do not give to babies and children under 18 months.
How is bee pollen powder made?
Bees make bee pollen granules by collecting and mixing together the excess pollen and nectar created by flowers. They carry the bee pollen on their legs as they travel back to their hives. Hive owners place a mesh screen near the beehives to safely brush off the pollen granules as the bees pass through, and collect the pollen in a tray. The nutritionally-rich granules are then cleaned, processed, and ground into a fine powder for human consumption.

“Bidding the instructions on the box (Hurry up - Open me!), I eagerly unpacked my latest nutty shipment (arriving a day before I expected it). Considering I stumbled across this place while looking for bulk yeast, I can't express how excited I was to find raw organic whole unpeeled cacao beans!!!!! This is, of course, on top of all the lovely things like spirulina, chlorella, noni, moringa, maca (and other) powders and bee pollen! Holy jumpin' jehosanuts! I was literally jumping from one foot to another in the kitchen as I surveyed all my loot spread out on the counter. The free samples always delight - I'm overflowing with gratitude for the cheerful emails, packaging, shipping boxes, and generosity. The glass jar of vanilla bean honey was so well packaged it required a surgical procedure to unpack. I need to put saran wrap on my keyboard so I don't short it out with drool as I type this review... Cheers to a nutterful, nutulous day. True bodaciousnuts. Thanks for being your nutty selves!”

“I just got my first order from Nuts.com and I LOVE the packaging. The box made me laugh and I love each item's packaging too. Now for the good stuff. I immediately made my lunch shake (ViSalus) with the wheatgrass, cherry and bee pollen powders. Delicious! They blended perfectly and smelled fresh. This may have been my first purchase, but it won't be my last! And thanks for the gift of the mixed fruit! It's also delish! ”
