Low-carb baking and bread mix can be used as a one-to-one replacement for flour in most recipes. It is a nutritious blend of all-natural ingredients, including high-fiber oat bran, wheat bran, soy flour and whole grain flaxseed meal, so you can be sure that the few carbs you do eat are satisfying. Our low-carb baking mix is incredibly easy-to-use for making delicious pancakes, muffins, breads and more!
How to Make Low-Carb Bread
Ingredients: One pound low-carb bread mix, 1/2 cup + three tbsp water, 3/4 cup light whipping cream, two tbsp canola oil, one egg (slightly beaten), one yeast package.
By hand: In mixing bowl, add warm water (90°F), yeast and 1 tsp of the bread mix. Let stand for 10 minutes. Warm cream to 90°F and add to the yeast mixture. Then add oil, slightly beaten egg and bread mix. Combine and then knead mixture for eight to ten minutes.
Place in a well-greased bowl and then turn over to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85°F) until dough doubles in size, approximately one hour.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Punch down and form into a loaf, folding ends under. Place in greased loaf pan and spray top with vegetable spray. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool before slicing.
Using a bread machine: Add the ingredients to the bread maker in the following order: Warm the water to 85-90°F. Pour into bread machine pan. Add cream, oil, and egg. Add low-carb bread mix. Make shallow well in the center of bread mix: do not break through to liquid portion. Add yeast to the well. Set bread machine to basic normal bread setting, medium crust setting, and 2lb loaf size. Start bread machine.

Super fast delivery! I made pancakes this morning. Not bad! Best lower carb ones I have had! It was almost 6 carbs per pancake. 28 carbs a cup, but the leading regular pancake mix has about 80 carbs per cup! So nice alternative! It would be nice to have recipes but I guess you could use any recipe that requires flour. Oh, and I use stevia so that kept the carb count just down to the amount in the mix.
