Certified: Organic Kosher

Organic Kamut is absolutely delicious and very nutritious for you. A member of the wheat family, Kamut is considered the "high energy grain" because it contains 40% more protein than the national average for wheat. As this grain hasn't been altered by modern plant breeders, it retains its ancient nutrition, flavor and goodness. It contains elevated levels of vitamin E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, pantothentic acid, copper and complex carbohydrates. Kamut is excellent in cereals, baked goods, and eaten as a side dish.

This long grain is best cooked in a slow cooker similar to rice and must be simmered for up to one hour.

Store kamut in sealed plastic and glass containers in a cool, dry location such as a kitchen cabinet away from the heat of a stove or oven. Kamut may keep up to one year if properly stored.

“I love everything from my order. Mangoes, mulberries, carob chips are all delicious! I was excited to get my blue popcorn, kamut, spelt, and barley as those are hard to find.”
