    All natural medium pearled barley is a member of the cereal grain. Oprah calls barley a Super Food! It is high in protein, fiber, Vitamin B6 and phosphorous. Not only is barley a low glycemic grain, it is high in both soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber helps the body metabolize fats, cholesterol and carbohydrates, and lowers blood cholesterol levels.
