Chia Bran is made by cold pressing of the chia seed to produce chia oil. After the oil is pressed from the seed, the remaining seed is ground and packaged as chia bran.
Chia bran is one of nature's richest source of fiber. It is a complete protein with high levels of amino acids. It has more iron than spinach, more magnesium than broccoli, more calcium than milk. Add chia bran to cookies, pastries, jellies, jam, or smoothies. When baking, use 30% less than regular flour.
