Our beloved grandfather, Poppy Sol, started this business in an open-air market. Three generations later, we’re still bringing smiles to our customers' faces.
Popular in Italy, Lupini beans make a nutritious and tasty treat.
These large-sized beans are dried and do need to be cooked.
Pick over beans to remove any debris. Soak overnight, drain and rinse. Cover by several inches with fresh water and simmer for an hour.
Drain, rinse well, and cover with salted water (about 1 tablespoon per quart of water). Refrigerate.
Repeat this process every day for 5 days, or until the soaking brine is no longer bitter.
Beans will keep for weeks, covered with lightly salted water and refrigerated.
To serve as a snack, drain desired quantity of beans, drizzle with olive oil and freshly ground black pepper.

“I noticed our Post Women carrying a box which was my Lupini Beans I had ordered from your company today.
We exchanged some outstanding comments of your company.
She also orders goodies from you and is so very satisfied with the service. I told her how good my lupini beans are and said she'll try it out next time she orders.
Because of the time it takes to prepare these beans, I told my wife, I am going to give her a sample container when she comes to deliver our mail tomorrow.
Thank you so much for just being there for us.

“I ordered on Friday and received my package on Monday. I was shocked at the incredible speed of the delivery. I purchased more lupini seeds, a 5 lb bag this time. I use them for cosmetic purposes, and expect to receive great results with a larger purchase. Thanks for stocking this item that is difficult to get on this side of the ocean.”

“I ordered bulk lupini beans for my Dad who is living in NC and can't find them anywhere. Not only did he receive the shipment superfast but the price per pound was good. He is very happy with the quality of the beans. He's been preparing his own lupini beans for years so this was an extra special treat for him. Thanks so much. We'll be ordering again from your company.”

“You guys are too much. Love your product and your writers! My current order is great, but you out did yourselves with the gift order for my dad last Christmas- I believe he became protective of his nuts and chocolates - cause he wasn't interested in telling too many people he had them. Absolutely wonderful and delicious. Thanks.”
