Astronaut Ice Cream Sandwiches

Real ice cream that never melts! This vanilla ice cream sandwich is freeze dried, crunchy, and never needs to go in the freezer. Similar to what astronauts eat in space, these freeze dried ice cream sandwiches are a real treat.

Because of the process involved in freeze drying ice cream, these will be individually wrapped in paper. The paper will have cuts in it. Freeze drying also causes the product to become extremely fragile. There will often be cracks in the bar and it could be broken into smaller chunks. Unfortunately, that is unavoidable.

Ingredients

Ice Cream: milkfat and nonfat milk, sugar, corn syrup, whey, stabilized and emulsified by mono and diglycerides, guar gum, cellulose gum and carrageenan, artificial flavor and vegetable annatto color. Wafer: bleached wheat flour, sugar, caramel color, corn sugar, vegetable shortening (partially hydrogentated soybean and cottonseed oils), corn flour, corn syrup, corn starch modified, salt, baking soda, mono and diglycerides, soy lecithin.

Packaged in the same facility as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, and milk products.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. We do not recommend refrigeration or freezing.
